Buying Books before Summer C

How do you buy books before Summer C if the books aren't posted on Blackboard along with the list of classes the student is registered for? Is this a concern or do students go to the bookstore the first day of class? Do we need to be worried about the books being sold out? The only one my son sees listed right now is for the FYE course.
Thanks

A lot of students wait until the first day of class to decide if they need the textbook. What are the course numbers? Perhaps they are listed at Bill's bookstore if not at the University bookstore yet.

Thanks a lot - I don't know know the course numbers, but I'll pass this on to my son. That's a good idea to check at both places. Sounds like textbooks might not even be needed (?)

Most of the time there are some required textbooks or websites that charge a fee and many of the classes use the PRS clicker. To save money try to get the books used if possible as long as you are sure you are getting the correct version. Sometimes an electronic version of the book is cheaper to buy but of course you can't resell it and if your computer breaks, it can be a hassle to get a second copy.

Thanks so much! This really helps me understand how it works.
