(a) When are we suppose to purchase books for the fall 2009 semester?

(b) Do we buy them before class starts? If so where do you find out which books you need?

If not, (c) do the professors tell you which books to purchase on your first class?

Go on blackboard at campus.fsu.edu and sign in. Go to secure apps and click on My Schedule. At the top of the page click on Buy Books. It will take you to the bookstore where there will be a list of books with the ISBN numbers. Some people try to buy ahead on half.com or the multiple discount sellers. Some wait to see if the prof says to buy the books (often more than one a class). But you will pay a premium if you wait and buy at the bookstore or at Bills Books. Even used texts there are more expensive than you think. Textbooks are pricey. After the first term it gets easier. You can buy used from friends, you can trade. You will get mass emails about books for sale, etc.
