By when does SAT need to be taken if student is a potential NMSF?

My D2 took the ACT, and will be taking it again. However, we’re trying to decide when / if she should take the SAT.

If she makes NMSF, will a SAT score already need to be on file, or can she take it during the next test session?

yes. It is up to the December test of senior year. Most NMSF should have their verification score before that though.
