<p>My daughter won the Byrd - is now a Sophomore - she has not received any disbursement this year - I was thinking that last year it had been disbursed by now - has anyone in Texas received theirs yet? </p>

<p>I am not in TX, but it is supposed to be automatic and my DD has not seen hers yet either.</p>

<p>Since it is supposed to go directly to the college, I haven't the faintest idea if it has been disbursed or not. Haven't heard from the college about it, though.</p>
<p>We are Texans, and DD is at Rice. We received a bill last week to show this semester's Byrd scholarship received as a credit. (DD is studying abroad, so Byrd will just stay in our account.)</p>
