BYU Late Summer Honors

You are invited to join an exceptional and motivated group of incoming freshmen and outstanding University Honors faculty for a seven-day experience in Late Summer Honors.</p>

<p>Sponsored by the BYU Honors Program, Late Summer Honors offers you an experience in one of 13 honors short courses, taught by some of BYU’s best professors, and participation in seminars, demonstrations, labs, and workshops. You will also earn one credit toward BYU Honors course work and prepare yourself for academic success in your first year at BYU.</p>

<p>Late Summer Honors gives you, as a student, the opportunity to begin your college career before formal classes begin. You become familiar with the academic and social scene of college life as part of a small, close-knit group of new freshmen—with a strong support system provided by your faculty advisor and the program director.</p>

<p>As a participant, you develop friendships with professors and fellow students that will last the whole year and beyond as you participate in other activities including a service project, church services, fireside, devotionals, social events, and a closing social."</p>
