somewhere aroun 3.7..with a weird trend. (TERRIble freshman yr, 4.0 sophomore yr, not so good Junior yr, 4.0 senior yr)</p>

<p>Another thing I am concerned about is that my course load is not that rigorous. I only have one AP class which I made a C in .. but its really not my fault! my school only offers three AP classes only for seniors. I took up a few honors classes though.</p>

<p>SAT: NICE TREND 1580(Jan 2009) -> 2090(June2009) -> 2180(October2009)</p>

<p>3.7 unweighed GPA with a 2180 on the SAT would make Michigan a match. Your AP coursload is not impressive, but since your school only offers 3 AP classes, you are not at fault. However, why did you not take all 3 APs and why did you get a C in that AP class?</p>

<p>@alexandre: my school offers aps in english, history, foriegn lang. As an international student who just came to the states last year, I was left with not much options. I started at level 1 in foriegn lang class as a junior. AP English was only available to seniors so the only ap I could take was u.s history. I failed miserably because I s ucked but also, the teacher s u c k e d. I couldn’t take AP english in my senior year because I just transferred to my school last year and I had to take some junior classes to make up for the credits so it didnt fit my schedule. :smiley: :smiley: :smiley: </p>

<p>Your stats are alright. The not completely rigorous part will hurt you though. The fact that you’re international could hurt you because (correct me if I’m wrong) you’re being compared to the rest of the international applicant pool, and many of them have impeccable stats. Is there anything that truly makes you stand out with ECs?</p>

<p>usually people that call themselves hot arent actually hot or they’re dumb (but like in ur case they might manage good test scores somehow). in one case ur a liar and the other ur dumb so unless you are a rare exception i hope u dont get in. also ur titile draws peoples attention, but makes them not want to actually chance you. i’m gonna go with dumb, but manages good score, because u want to go to umich because its cute.</p>
