I currently have a C in English as a senior, which will drop my rank and my GPA pretty hard because I've never gotten more than 1 B a year.

I'm applying to Stanford, Yale, Harvard, UPenn, Columbia... think it's going to kill my shot at those schools?

Argh. Everything was great until now.

Edit: If I do get into Stanford SCEA, is there any chance they'll rescind my admission if I get a C (with the rest of the classes A's)? Even if I'm taking 5 AP's and have 3 jobs this year?

I don't think it should be that much of a big deal.........and your gpa prolly won't drop too much........

cuz.......if u have all A's.........one C will not really bring you that much down....

and also...........college decisions come out much later.......like around april........and they ask for transcripts at diff points of the year.........if you get an A next marking period........u could be ok.......

I don't think this will have any severe effects....

I predict getting a C will drop me 2-3 rankings. No big deal (still will be top 1%), but getting a C is a bit different than getting 2-3 B's...

Senioritis + stress + I'm burned out. Last year I took 6 AP's and I'm just tired.
