Hi guys! I am a freshman going to a new school, and I had to test in to algebra 2/trig Honors.
I had a 98% average in both algebra 1 and geometry (both honors) at my old k-12 school, so I thought honors at my new school would be at the least, manageable.
However, my first test was a D+. Granted, I didn't really study all too much because it was algebra review, but it was still hard.
Then, I consecutively got a C-/D+ on the quizzes, and 90-95 on the tests. However, whenever I take a quiz, I am always sick for some really inconvenient and coincidental reason, and now I just got a 65.
I know the material, but I think my teacher is implying that she wants me to drop down to non-honors, because up until now, it was review, and after this chapter, it will be new material. I am scared for my grade, but I am almost positive I can still succeed in this class (I always have a little trouble transitioning to new schools)
Should I drop down? My next test is Wednesday.

don’t drop stick with it. Never give up

Brought it up to a B, which I guess is better

B is not a bad grade. (Good job) Now you’ll know how to study next time, and you can probably have an A average for the semester.
