C or D in Calculus II. HELP!

Hello, I took Calculus II at a community college (elac) during my senior year of high school. I'm planning to enroll at elac or maybe another cc in FALL 2013. However I got a C in the class and I know Cs are detrimental b/c I really want to transfer to UCLA, USC, etc.

I thought since I took it in high school, it wouldn't show on my transcript. But now Im not so sure. If a C is going to appear on my transcript when I transfer in 2 yrs, then my chances are pretty much killed. Does the C count even if I took the class during hs?

Should I just get a D and retake it?

you should

itll show on your transcript because when you apply to the UCs, you have to list all the classes that you took. If you got a D you could retake it again and if you get an A itll probably cover up the D. You should check with the JC youre at cus I know my school does that for people who received a D and they were able to retake that class to make up for it. But then again you are a senior in hs and calc 2 is pretty tough. so maybe youll have an advantage there? or maybe not…
