D in Calculus should I try to get up to a C or Drop?

Hi I’m a CCC student and just got back my third Calculus 1 exam which I failed. I currently have a 67% in the class and I’m trying to decide if I should try and finish out the course and get a C or take my second W this semester. I still have two more exams and a final which will replace my lowest score but if I do poorly on those I’m in trouble.

I’m a political science major so it’s not a prerequisites, but for UCI it is a graduation requirement.

Would appreciate the input on what to do I just don’t want to put a D on my transcript right before transfer.

If it were me I’d drop it. It sounds like you can be admitted without it. On the other hand if you get a D or F in the class they might not admit you. If you’re failing tests with 2 more exams to go then your chances for passing may not be great.

There is a UC transfer forum here; you ought to post there to get more advice

Moving to UC Transfer Forum.

I agree with mikemac. I would drop it.
