C2 Education? Seems fishy...

Considering C2 Education for ACT prep. My parents are all for it but I’m a little skeptical:

I took an actual ACT on my own and scored a 30 (33 Reading and Writing, 27 Math and Science)

On the C2 ACT I scored a 27 (25 in Reading and Writing, 27-28 in Math and Science)

Since I am and have always been a stronger humanities person, I’m surprised that my C2 scores indicated the exact opposite.

If anyone has been through the program, I’d like to know:

a) Does the C2 curriculum accurately represent what’s on the ACT? Does it really prepare you for the actual test? Or is it just a big marketing gimmick to make you seem worse than you actually are?
b) What has been your general experience with the content/curriculum/tests that C2 provides?

I’m looking to get 34+ ACT scores by studying (intensely) for 3-4 months
