Cable in Dorm Rooms

<p>I’m planning on taking a TV to college with me next year (freshman). Does Amherst have free cable for dorm rooms? If so, how does it hook up? Thanks.</p>

<p>“If so, how does it hook up?”</p>

<p>There’s a wall jack onto which you can hook up a special cable that also connects to your TV. Check out your specialty electronics store.</p>

<p>You just need your standard cable connector that we purchased at Wal-Mart. It worked all four years.</p>

<p>Do the common rooms have TVs?</p>

<p>Pratt, James, and Stearns do, I know that much.</p>

<p>My D says all dorms have TV’s in the common rooms.</p>
