I got an email from Tom at Cadet Care Packages today. He will bring your Cadet a Mitch’s reprieve meal on Sundays and Tuesdays. We used this service for Potter during her doolie year and were very satisfied with the results. Tom is a graduate and has an attachment to the kids.

The other service is called zoominet. They also have a good service and provide a wide selection of items for your cadets. The only problem being the new Doolie’s wont be able to use this for a while.

Random trivia: Zoomienet made its first delivery right after the class of 06 was Recognized. ;)

I actually still have some money in my Zoomienet account (10 or 15 dollars, maybe). I'm willing to let a current cadet have it. I'll transfer it to the first cadet who sends me their name via PM (and will post again when it's been claimed).

I have no idea what it is like up on the hill but ACQ over here is boring as all get out. I spend half the time fixing my squad's computers and the other half surfing what is left of the internet. Not much left.

Make sure your cadets know where to go to get their care packages! When you enter a hall go AWAY from the CQ/subway area and towards the ticket pick up area!

I used Tom's service yesterday for my son's birthday. I had a birthday cookie cake sent to him. Here's what he had to say about it:

"I got the delivery and was like, sweet! fresh cookies! Then I saw that I got some milk with it too and thought, man, mom has gone all Girl Scout on me and is really prepared."

I will definitely use the service again. Very easy to use and apparently great service!

I hadn't been on Zoomienet in a while, but ds52262's post reminded me of it. I went there today, and the site hasn't been updated since they closed in the Spring for the end of the school year. Does anyone know if they resumed deliveries this semester?
