Is your SAT score out of 1600 or 2400?

its out of 1600

I say you have a very good chance.

im just worried about my a.p. test scores coming up. how big a role do they play in admissions?

Colleges don't look at AP scores in admissions. The first time they see it is after you're accepted to determine your credits.

You have a good chance, but who knows anymore with UF. Admissions have become incredibly hard to predict.

Very good chance of getting in.....visit some other schools and have some back ups though....as the post before says UF is unpredictable -and who knows how many students will be applying.

In. You've got a legacy. They like their legacies.

[And your other credentials are impressive enough on their own.]

You're in. The only thing I would worry about is whether your UF GPA is enough to qualify you for the honors programs (which, with your credentials, you should be shooting for) but there is no way, shape, or form you are getting rejected from the regular university. Good job!

If they liked their legacies my story may have been different. I really don't think they make much of a difference at all at UF.

jaimmeastorga, that is patently false. We have a responsibility to be brutally honest here, and while TC has great stats and merits an acceptance, the fact is that with UF, there is no telling sometimes. I'd give her a 90% chance.

gotta second that. caede, please do not expect to get in anywhere. there's always good chance you won't get in; it won't be for a lack of qualifications but because i've seen UF's admissions office do stranger things
