Well, today I got into Chico State, not sure if its easier to get into there but am happy, if I were eccepted to ASU it'd be a tossup on which to go.

hey average are u from California or Arizona?

I'm from California, so it'd be OOS which doesnt help me fiinancially (3K to go to chico or 17K to go to ASU) But I'd be hoping to become a resident in tuition purposes after the first year. I heard that if you live and work in Arizona you can become a resident for tuition purposes. Kind of weird how ASU costs more than UA,

Im from California also and have stats around what u have also. I'm also applying to Chico State and ASU, let me know if u get admitted to asu, good luck

To be honest your chances are minimal since your sat and gpa are low. try to raise your sat and your chances will increase dramatically. Id say you have a tiny shot though.

Thats my SAT out of 1600, I dont think ASU counts Writing but of they do then I have a 1750.

if it was out of 1600 then why did you write 1240/2400?

Damn, my mistake, should be 1600

oh in that case your 50/50

Well, considering out of 1600 then you have a small chance, but having below a 3.0 is going to make it very difficult for you.

A girl from my high school got into ASU with a 2.5 gpa and 1000 sat score (from California too). The chances of him getting are good. ASU accepts most applicants.

I got into ASU today! I may still choose Chico but nice to know I have options, 2 for 2 so far!
