<p>Anyone apply for this, get the interview and get the award? If so, would you mind explaining the process if you get to the interview stage? I tend to freeze at that stage, and if I could get some idea of strategies that work (questions asked, responses that work, should I ask questions, etc.), I would really appreciate it.</p>

<p>I've had it the last three years....I never actually knew the interviews cut people until last year.</p>
<p>Things that I think help:
1. As it's a leadership award, actually have a leadership position on campus
2. Go above and beyond...do an event, something that's socially con. and educational (I wouldn't create something just cause you want to be a scholar, I just find most of us have done these sort of things)
3. I had a crazy interview the first time around...the man had his back to me the whole time and stared out the window. I just acted like it didn't phase me, was enthusiastic, and it seemed to all be fine...</p>
