Tropical...: "You definitely don't look like one to contribute positively to the community, nor is your level of diction and response sufficient enough for the competitiveness and maturity of Cal."

Please elaborate on how my level of diction is not sufficient for Cal?

Not addressing anyone in particular, Cal Day left a GREAT impression on me. I have been to to the open house's at USC, UCLA, Stanford, UCSD and Princeton and was undecided on UCLA, Stanford and Cal until Cal Day. Cal Day made my decision. I agree that Cal is not for everyone and if you don't feel good about it, then you should go where you feel comfortable.

Let's lay off mshetab...he's gotten a pounding here. He may not have opinions that we agree on, but the continued attacks are mean. Sharing a different view on Berkeley architecture is one thing, but scrolling through his MySpace is something else...just let this thread drop.

this is really my last post here......now .......to end this thread forever
1. i posted the 'bad first impression' stuff like 20 min after getting home on saturday.........NOT much time to process anything.....not a good idea apparently
2. my view on Cal has since changed....BUT i am probably NOT going to go there.
3. if i ever came across as being rude......it was ONLY because i was constantly being 'attacked' by you people (ilovecalifornia: including an unnecessary myspace revision.....no need to hATE on me lol!).
4. Please do not reply to this with yet ANOTHER 'your attitude sucks, 'your not smarter than me', 'your not mature enough for cal' post. You all had your fun....now MOVE ON.
