<p>Don’t listen to those people, you have a solid shot at most of the schools. If I were you…I would have applied to other competitive colleges…I think you’re in at Emory, and you have a good chance at Cal, and may have more trouble at USC. Your ethnicity will play a big factor, please do not believe that Cal will not take your ethnicity into account. Simply include your ethnicity, and background into your personal statement…I hope you did so, if not, you’re foolish. Cornell is really receptive to minority students…so you have a fairly decent shot. You should have considered: Rice, Brown, Darthmouth, Wesleyan (they love diversity), plus my other favorite is Pomona, a truly academic college. Safety schools: UCSD, UCSB, Case Western Reserve, Kenyon College, Bucknell, Occidental, Babson (if you’re really interested in business), and Colgate.</p>
