Cal Grant A - Sacramento State

<p>I have been trying to figure out why my Cal Grant A is not showing up under my financial aid section in My Sac State. I realized that I did not change my school of attendance on the CSAC website until yesterday and I was wondering if that effected it? I already received my financial aid award notification e-mail so I am really worried that I won't get my Cal Grant A award as this will be a huge burden on my family.</p>

<p>Also, does anybody know when exactly tuition fees need to be paid for Sac State? One part of the website says June 18th, another part says July 2nd or September, and another one says whenever you register for your classes. I have been very confused about this and I was hoping someone would have the answer. :) </p>

<p>It’s most likely due to the pending verification. Call SacSate’s financial aid office, though.</p>

<p>“Tuition and fees are due to the University 14 days after a student registers for classes.”</p>

<p>^ This seems to make sense, as most colleges require you to pay around early September. I’d still call and verify, though.</p>

<p>UPDATE: I did end up getting my Cal Grant A, it turns out that the main problem was that Sac State was not listed as my first university choice on the FAFSA. Everything has worked out just fine after that was corrected. :)</p>
