Cal Grant B and State University Grant

I just got my financial aid award letter and have been offered 1,648 from Cal Grant B and 5,472 from the State University Grant and was wondering how they work and if I were to accept one would the other grant be removed or would I be able to accept both grants?

accept both! After freshman year, the ‘State University Grant’ part will be replaced with Cal Grant money.

@jbourne is correct. In future years, your Cal Grant B will include both the $5,472 for tuition and the $1,648 book stipend.
