Cal Housing

Yes, got into an apartment double in a 4 bedroom apartment at channing bowditch. For those that did not get their first choice, where did you guys want to live?

Also, did anyone get their lease yet? I replied to the housing offer email, but havent gotten anything yet.

I still have no idea what a mini suite configuration will look like. its 2 rooms (with 2 ppl to a room) to a bathroom, so does that mean we have a common area or something?

The "tours" of the housing on the website is also pretty useless. The pictures of the bedrooms they show must be accurate, but that is for the standard freshman dorm with the single bathroom per floor deal.

Diitto on what niggit said.

anyone else get a channing bowditch lease that says the lease starts on 7-01-07? what is up with that? why would it start in the summer?

i got a unit 3 trip

Unit 3 triple-it was not even on my list. =(
I think I should try to get an apartment myself

Super Irish Luck??

I got a single suite in foothill, but i went to housing today and no one in the office seemed to know what that was.. "i didn't know they had singles at foothill"

I'd still rather rent privately with my friends but we can't track down a place yet T___T

yeah from everything i have heard, it is going to be really hard to find a decent place location and literal wise since all the leases are generally starting on the first of june. that is why i am pretty sure i will go ahead and accept the housing offer.

its also a good way to meet people and get some of that college life thing we missed out on those first two years. ah well, make what you can of it thats the key.

Seriously, if anyone wants a to share a room / go looking for rooms / wants to divvy up something, then contact me. I'm a chill guy, reference some of my posts and you'll see a description of me. Thanks.

Well... housing apps are due today and I really do not want to accept my offer (double in mini-suite, unit 1).

Anyone else reluctantly accepting their offer?

I like the mini-suite idea, but it is ridiculously expensive.
