<p>Does Cal Poly SLO require the writing for the ACT? I know they don’t for the SAT, but what about the ACT?</p>

<p>I do not believe so. However, you will need it for many other schools that you will apply to. Cal Poly is very competitive and there is no guarantee of getting in. Take the Writing anyway. Apply to at least 7-10 schools.</p>
