Cal Poly Civil Engineering program?

<p>I haven't heard too much about it... I know that the general engineering and architectural engineering courses are exceptional but I haven't heard very much about its civil engineering program.</p>

<p>Is the civil engineering major at cal poly good? Also how hard is it to get into?</p>

<p>For those who did get excepted for civil or something related to it, it would help so much if you would share your stats (: Thanks!</p>

<p>CalPoly is up there for almost all engineering for a school that does not offer a doctorate. It’s very strong, but not for everyone. We visited about a month ago, beautiful campus. But they have more of a hands on approach to teaching versus theory based learning.</p>
