Hi i have a question about the Cal Poly Pomona Dorms. For anyone that goes there, please help me with this.

How are the dorms? Are the dorms separated between females and males? Or are they in the same dorms? I meant the dorm house, not rooms obviously. Or is it males in one dorm house and females in another dorm house?

i don't go there but i heard that there are suites on one side of the campus that are outstanding and the newest. on the other side are the dorms which reportedly are separated by floors and interest areas. guess that means that females engineers have one floor and male architects another.

well, i'll be going to cal poly next year, and i've seen the dorms there. the suites and apartments are not available for freshmen, only the older dorms. the red brick buildings are the older buildings and not as nice as the slightly newer gray buildings. most floors have two wings, one for male students, and one for female. there are floors in aliso and alamitos, i believe, that have coed halls and separate bathrooms.

So basically the guys and girls aren't living in the same floor right? There's a wall between the places right? Because i think it's a little too unconvenient to live with boys. Thanks for all the info.

well, two floors have some male rooms and some female rooms all mixed together. most of the other floors are divided between male and female. i'm not sure if they're completely divided by a wall or anything, but i think there are doors in between the hallways to keep things separate. i think there are a few all male floors, but that's because there are more guys than girls there.

there is a website called calpolyonline.com
on that site it lists more than 1,000 members
the guess here is that you will find lots of readers who live in those dorms.
good luck!
