Cal Poly Pomona or UCSD for Comp Sci

Hi y’all, just got accepted and trying to make a decision…
Which college would u say has a better comp sci program or is more recruited from?
I know both are good schools but not sure which will prepare me better for employment or would increase my chances of getting a good job.
I like “learning by doing” philosophy of CPP but i’d prefer a quarter system (UCSD) over semester (CPP).
Also, UCSD location is so much nicer and more convenient.
Any advice plz?

Do you have direct admission to the CS major at each school?

If you do not have direct admission to the CS major at UCSD, it will be unlikely that you will be able to get into the CS major after enrolling as undeclared or another major (need 3.3 GPA and then enter a lottery): https://cse.ucsd.edu/undergraduate/cse-capped-major-status

For CPP, you need a 3.25 GPA to change into the CS major if you do not have direct admission: https://www.cpp.edu/~academic-programs/College_Requirements_for_Change_of_Major_2017-2018.pdf
