Computer Science Undeclared

Hello,
I got admitted to UCSD with an Undeclared major, while I also got accepted in UCI with CS major, which college shall I choose?

there are couple forums with similar questions like mine, but I want to know the recent facts(how hard is it to get into CS major in UCSD in 2015-2016) a part of me wants to go to UCI coz I m already in that major and I wanted to go there anyways, while another part of me wants to go to UCSD as they are the third best UC, but is scared by the thought of not getting accepted in the major.

Thanks in Advance…

Not sure what information you are looking for about switching into CS if you have already looked through the forums for any specific information:

From @BunnyBlue: There is a thread on Reddit/UCSD “CSE major change request results are out!” in which posters say only those with a 4.0 in all the CSE courses that are required for transferring were accepted this quarter. This was especially difficult because just one A- (3.7) brings the GPA down. In addition to being difficult, I think this would make test taking extremely stressful. In the past few years, students hoping to get CS settled for CS-math, but I hear that that and all math majors are going to be impacted for fall 2016 also.

From @DoctorP: Prior to applying, you need to pass four courses: CSE 8B or 11, CSE 12, CSE 15L, and CSE 20 or Math 15A. The odds of getting in vary from quarter to quarter; it’s difficult, but not impossible.

If you want specific and up to date information, then you should contact the source: CSE department at UCSD and ask them your questions.

Thanks for the information… I think i will just go to UCI… coz atleast I am admitted as a CS major there…
