Hello i am currently a junior in high school with a 4.06 weighted GPA cumulative. I’m pursuing the IB program right now with HLs including English, Philosophy, and Math and SLs including Physics, Environment, and Spanish. I will have finished 3 AP tests as well by the end of my junior year. My SAT score is a 1280 but I can easily get it up before the time I apply. I’m on varsity cross-country and track as well as have won several community awards for the sport; plus being in NHS. What are my admission chances for cal poly’s college of science and mathematics, more specifically kinesiology? Thank you!
Is your GPA of 4.06 cumulative, your CP GPA? Use the rogerhub calculator and input your 9-11th a-g course grades and it caps with 8 semesters of UC approved Honors/AP/IB or DE courses taken 10-11th grade. Your GPA looks on target.

Kinesiology has about a 11% projected acceptance rate so I would try to bump up your SAT scores especially if the average SAT score for 2016 was 1356.
Best of luck.
The CSU application for SLO doesn’t ask for specific ECs, just how many hours per week you spend on them. Just be honest about that question and focus on raising those test scores
