My kid told me that a significant number of Bio Medical Engineering students go on to Med School afterwards. I think that acceptance rates are more based on individual test scores, GPA and courses taken. I think that SLO will serve you well for med school as long as you are on top of taking all the right classes. Internships? Contact the departments that feed medical schools. In general, CP is very good in this area.

Cal Poly also has advisors that work specifically with pre-med and pre-vet students to prepare them for the application process. This advising process starts during the spring of junior year.

The Famous OsakaDad! Huh. Thats ironic that the biomed engineering students get into med school more frequently. i mean Med schools look for high gpas. and engineering at Slo is intense. And osaka dad i could not find that department and i am also a biochem majoring, switching into biology with an emphasis in anatomy and physiology. So i hope that all works out

And Mariner116 that is good to hear.

Thanks for the replies guys
