Pro/Con list?

I’ve been accepted to both and don’t know anything about either one.
Any info or reasons why I should attend would be helpful.
Thanks.

Oh, I applied under biological science…if that helps.

Well I live very near UCI and I can tell you its definitely a nice campus in a very nice setting, Irvine is a great place. That being said, it really doesn't have the same atmosphere Cal Poly does. nearly everyone commutes to UCI, if your anywhere near there when classing are getting out you know this. It can be expensive to find housing in Irvine too, but it is only about five minutes from the beach and is basically on the bay which is nice. For me, you can't beat the atmosphere in SLO. I would choose Cal Poly.

Cal Poly's also got a very good bio program going. Definitely attend the open house in april.

Okay thanks!

I just visited the campus for the first time today. It was BEAUTIFUL! I wasn't expecting to like the campus this much but it was so pretty, despite all the cows on the drive up. Hahaha.
Also, the tour guide was telling us of all these cool things to do, like surf board shaping, glassblowing, or taking a bowling or billairds class! Also, the school has its own printing press for the journalism department.
I really think this is where I'm going to end up. Now I'm excited. :)
