Cal Regents Letters

<p>I know we all have transferitis and April is just around the corner, but I was just wondering if Cal sent out their Regents Letters yet? I checked the UC website and it says transfer notifications come out in May.. </p>

<p>So if I didn't get it by now, should I stop my obsession of checking my email every couple of minutes?</p>

<p>Nobody here has received one from Cal yet (for transfers). UCLA sent theirs a few weeks back, but UCLA just sends it out to all the 4.0 students minus a few 4.0s…But Cal does a holistic approach and looks at everything to determine REgents eligibility so it would natrually take more time. Probably by the end of this month or early april.</p>

<p>Sorry I’m not famillar with how UCs work, but why regent scholarship so important? Do they offer any other scholaship in UCs? If so, is that because regent scholarship offer more money thant the others? thank you</p>

<p>I’m not sure about at CAL but at UCLA it’s a $2000 a year scholarship, you get priority enrollment and you’re given an opportunity to join the regent’s society/club/honors thing;.</p>
