Cal State Student Life

Ok so the Cal states i applied to are Long Beach, Fullerton, Dominguez Hills, and Poly Pomona and i just wanted more info on the overall atmosphere at any of the campuses. I've visited all of them, but I'd like info on more of the social atmosphere at these schools. Is the campus diverse? Is it more appropriate for certain types of people (hobby wise)? Any interesting clubs? I know each campus is unique and has different things to offer so if you've been or currently are a student at any of these please help me out! I don't want to end up at a school that might not be a right fit! Thank you :)

Cal Poly Pomona is a diverse campus. I couldn’t tell you much about the student life here, but the city is boring. If you have a car you’re all set, though. There are a ton of clubs here, but I only explored my options when I got here. My experience would be different than yours most likely because I came from a community college. They have something at the beginning of the year called Bronco Fusion which is pretty cool. There’s sorority/fraternity recruitment, but I don’t know anything about that.

I’d basically come here if you want a great education at a low cost and it’d be extra beneficial if you were a STEM major. Most of the people in my major (applied math/stats) are focused and hardworking. Not really the partying type.
