I need to find more safeties to apply to since I'm only seriously considering 3 schools at the moment, which is not good. Could anyone suggest a good Cal State that has Business undergrad program and is in a metropolitan city with nice dorms?

Cal State, Long Beach (I don't know about the dorms though).

Cal Poly (San Luis Obispo) is the best cal state for business. Although that might not fit your metropolitan city description.

I agree with bookfreak, IMO, Cal State Long Beach has a really strong business program.

San Diego State

Actually SDSU is the best school for business. It is considered the second strongest CSU after Cal Poly. But you're interested in business so SDSU is better and if you ever want to change your major SDSU has more options.

Also SDSU has better sports and parties than all the others.

Yes, SDSU is the strongest cal state for business, not Cal Poly slo or CSULB. But it's also the second toughest csu to get into.

there are none that fit the OP's description. Urban Cal-Poly schools draw from the local area and most of the kids live in the area or at home. Those in the smaller towns may have dorms or a good residential apartment situation, but they aren't in the metropolitan area the OP seeks.

SDSU's business program is probably the best.

Yeah, you'll have to compromise something if you want nicer dorms, like that of Sonoma State or Humboldt State, then you'll have to sacrifice your metropolitan city.

surprised noone said CSU Fullerton? top 10 or 20 business programmes for undergrads or something liek that... somethign weird i dunno.

Top 10 or 20? lol... maybe out of cali schools

If you want a safety, go with SDSU, it'd be a fun school and it has a good business program too.
