Yeah, after my audition (which I felt I nailed,) I found this on the website:

"This program accepts students only at the BFA1 (first-year undergraduate) and MFA1 (first-year graduate) levels."

I have my AA. So it goes. My only shred of hope was that they'd say something like "yeah, we'll accept you, you just have to start college all over again!"

I'm actually hoping to get into UCI. If I go there at least I'd get to move out of Valencia, which I hate with a passion.

Good luck with Berkeley. I have a lot of friends that have gone there that absolutely loved it!

I live in canada, and i haven't heard anything. Our mail doesn't get deliviered on weekends, and this is Easter weekend, so 4 days without mail is not good for my nerves.

Congradulations to everyone who has been accepted!!!!!!!

greatings, my name's jon wayne and I applied to the experimental animation dpt. I got my letter of acceptance today!!! so they are on tthe way for all you early enrollment people. good luck!

Congrats!!! CalArts is soooooooooo hard to get into -- Especially for Experimental and Character Animation. (I applied, but I haven't heard anything back yet. I totally don't expect to get in, but I wanted to give it a shot anyways.)

I literally just got my letter for CalArts (for the Experimental Animation BFA)! I'm so excited I feel like my head is about to explode. They're my top choice so I'm stoked.

Rejected this past week from CalArts Experimental MFA. Sad because I really wanted to go there. It's a good thing UCLA's animation program wants me. That's something right?

I think I'm going to frame my rejection letter as a reminder...

is UCLA animation really that great? Just asking since emburst said he was waiting on UCLA which he preferred over CalArts which I thought was one the best schools.

I tried finding example demo reels from UCLA and what I found wasn't that impressive
