So basically my Calc AB is class is going super slow. We've been doing implicit differentiation for 4 class days. We've also done everything else super slow aswell. I'm thinking of just studying Calc BC and was wondering what material I should do after certain sections. After limits/continuity, after derivatives, and after integrals? I don't want to learn everything for AB (which will literally be like the day before the AP test at this pace), and then have to cram for BC. Thanks.

If you want to do BC, you should start as soon as possible (don’t wait until April to begin learning BC material, that’s tough). AB covers limits, differentiation, and some integration (I don’t recall any integration by parts or trig substitution on AB…that might be BC).

Be cautious that you don’t try to learn AB too quickly. You’ll miss out on key ideas and theorems, which will ultimately hamper you in the long run, particularly if you take multi-variable calculus or higher.

if you feel like AB is too slow go ahead of the class and learn what is coming up next then u will do good in the class and do fine on the ap exam.

Can you switch classes or do you have to just self-study? Unless the college you’re going to gives credit only for BC, do you have a reason to study BC? I mean, don’t get me wrong, I LOVE calculus, but it’s definitely one of those things where it’s hard to skip ahead.
