My son came home from today's BC Calc test and described answering the last FR question. He completed all of the questions, and wondered why there was an answer blank for question 6D. On leaving, he learned that the second FR test booklet was the AB booklet, NOT the BC booklet. This was the case for about 80% of the students .

I'm interested in seeing how College Board responds. Anyone else have this experience?

I don’t think so… None of my friends seem to have had this issue, and i filled in all the spaces for the packets.

it’s better to check the booklet and everything else before we start

2 of my friends in BC got the AB booklet for FRQs 4 through 6.

Gasp you just admitted to discussing the frqs omg ban hammer

You should definitely have your school’s AP Coordinator file an irregularity report on behalf of your son. Not sure what happens from there, but that’s definitely the first step.

The school’s AP coordinator contacted College Board shortly after students reported the issue. College Board was quite apologetic, and will provide alternate questions to replace those that were provided incorrectly. The retake will occur at school later this month with the AP test coordinator as a proctor.

This is probably the best possible outcome.
