Calculating GPA

I know that at UC's, you calculate your gpa base on the a-g approved courses, and weighting honors/ap classes. Do you do the same thing for LACs? Also when calculating your gpa do you include, required high school courses like pe. For example, due to issues/misunderstandings with a teacher, I got a B+ in a required health class called living skills. I know that usually health classes are considered an easy A. Will that lower my gpa and hurt my chances when applying to colleges later on? I'm a sophomore right now, and i do have 2 b's this year in honors math and accelerated chem. Any advice?

No, you don't use the UC GPA for anything outside of the system (hence why it's called UC GPA.)

Your GPA for pretty much everything else is unweighted and takes into account all classes taken for a letter grade. One B will not kill you, FYI.
