When I am listing my stats it asks for the unweighted gpa. I have calculated my unweighted gpa based on this scale: 4.0-95+,3.9-94,3.8-93 etc. When I calculated my unweighted gpa I got 3.77. I think there are a lot of ways to calculate the unweighted gpa but for my "stats" how should I calculate it? Am I selling myself short writing 3.77? I have 10 A's 3 A+'s and 3 B+'s on my high school transcript- Is this truly equivalent to a 3.77 uw gpa? I put this on the chance me thread because I want to be able to accurately write my uw gpa in the future. Thank you!

Most of the time, the scale is:

A: 4.0
B: 3.0
C: 2.0
D: 1.0

So you would have:
13 As (4.0) + 3 Bs (3.0) = 61.0/16 = 3.81

Thank you so much! :)

If your school does + and -
A 4.0
A- 3.7
B+ 3.3
B 3.0

GPA of 3.868
