Calculator help please?

My calculator hasn't been able to graph polar equations correctly and I don't really know why. I forgot to ask my teacher/friend to look at it during school today so yeah, hopefully someone knows here.

When I try to graph polar equations, the graph just becomes all distorted and are never the correct shapes. They look more like triangles/rectangles...

I'm assuming that all my numbers in window are incorrect. Can someone tell me what were the numbers there...

Have you checked that your calculator is in the correct mode? Go to mode and change from function to polar and it might need to be in radians too.

You want to adjust the step size (on the [WINDOW]) to a smaller number.

The calculator doesn’t actually graph any kind of function (polar functions included), and so what it tends to do is to evaluate the function at a fixed number of points and connect the dots. Reducing the step size will make it calculate more points along the way, thereby ensuring that the graph looks more like the actual curve.

However, reducing the step size too much will make the calculator take an awfully long period of time to graph. Use the [ON] key to abort a process if you make your step size too small.

I’ve usually found that a step size of 0.1 works well enough for me on most functions.
