Calculator

Does a graphing calculator give me a big advantage over a scientific calculator. I always use a scientific calculator at school... I'm really skilled at it. Should I bother buying a graphing calculator and learning how to use it if I'm doing the SATII MATHIIC on May 6th?

I find using a graphing calculator to be beneficial and would definitely reccommend buying one and getting accustomed to it if you plan to take upper level math classes (it's mandatory for AP Calc at my high school). However, seeing as the May 6th exam is pretty soon, I'd stick with your scientific calculator for it; you want to be as comfortable as possible when taking the test and not weighed down by the added pressure of using a more high-tech calculator you're not familiar with.

There's nothing on the SAT2 for Math II that requires the graphing calculator. I agree w/ littleathiest--stay with what you are familiar with.
