Would it be a good idea to take AP Calculus AB junior year then AP Calculus BC senior year, or just take AP Calculus BC junior year? I'm really good at math. I'm planning to take Pre-Calculus over the summer.

Just take BC junior year, but make sure you take some other math class senior year. Maybe Cal III at a CC or something.

Yeah, you don’t need AB first to take BC, because BC is everything in AB plus some. Might as well take it all in one year.

Just do BC. Honestly there isn’t even that much new material in BC. L’Hopital, Improper Integrals, Partial Fractions, Euler, Slope Fields, Sequences/Series, & Taylor. And even with all those topics, Sequences/Series & Taylor are the only ones that are somewhat hard (well harder than the rest).

You should check with your school to see how the classes are structured. Some classes are structured such that the BC class must follow AB, in which case you would likely have to self-study the AB material to keep up with the BC class. Other classes are structured such that the BC class covers the AB material first, in which case students who are really good at math should be fine in the BC class.
