Hi, is it possible to pass the calculus CLEP test after only studying it for a month? Also with no calculus background? I have to finish it by beginning-mid April so that I can register for my classes next year because it is a pre-req and I didn’t read the pre-reqs properly.
Also what is the best way to study for this efficiently for a beginner? I have never taken a CLEP test before either.
I would suggest either paying the $10 fee for the CLEP Calculus study guide (which includes a practice test), or getting ahold of the CLEP Official Study Guide book (can purchase new, used, or even find a copy at local libraries). This book contains the same thing as the $10 download, but for all of the CLEP exams.
You need to go through the practice test and see how you do to give you an idea of how comfortable you would be with this subject. The practice exams are very similar to the content on the actual exam (of course different questions).
