calculus on math IIC?

I just can't get clear, consistent answers from anyone! I need to know, so I can register for the proper exam, if the more difficult** math IIC/B has calculus on it (PARTICULARLY DERIVATIVES AND INTEGRALS!!!) I didn't see "derivatives" or "integrals" mentioned on the college board website, or on the sparknotes review. However, some people have told me that there is a few calculus-based questions (again: Derivatives and integrals, etc.) on the test.

I am taking precalc and want to take the test in june. I know a little about derivatives but NOTHING about integrals (i don't even know what it is!).

So, can anyone please relieve me from my quandary? Sorry if this has been asked before, I really and honestly did try to search for an old thread, but couldn't find anything that had to do specifically with my problem! Please reply ASAP! thanks!

you don't need calculus for IIC, just trig and the maths before it. you don't need to know derivatives or integrals. there might be some limits on there, but i think all you need to know about them you learn in trig, at least in my trig class they were covered at the end of the year.

I have the same question. does anyone dispute or agree with mercenne (especially if you took it). Thanks!

there is no calculus whatsoever on the IIC. However, some questions may be more easily understood with a decent base in calculus, but it is by no means a requirement. You can definitely get an 800 without knowing any calc.
