Calculus, Ross, and even some high school

Hi, I'm a freshman in the honors program here at UMich. Some questions about applying to the B-School:

1.) I realize calculus is extremely important in business. Unfortunately, I'm falling flat on my face. First midterm was a C in Calc I. I know I can get this up to a B-/B. But will this completely unhinge me? All my other grades (13 honors credits) should be fine (knock on wood.) I guess I'm just looking for someone to tell me a B- won't completely derail my chances.

2.) Does Ross consider high school stuff like grades and SATs?

3.) Would anyone who's in Ross like to share the anecdotal stats that got them in?

getting a b- wouldn't look too good...

yes, but they're not that important.

get A's in the weeder classes (econ and calc) and write great essays.

If you get As in Economics and English and a B in Calculus, you should be ok. But be sure you pull off the B. If you only manage a C in Calculus, your chances won't be good.

Once you get into LSA as a freshman, they look at only your freshman college record. And you're not allowed to put anything HS related on any part of your application with the exception of the summer of your senior year.
