I am planning on transferring to UCSB next year with a major in stats and data science. I am taking trig right now and can take pre-calc in the winter and calc 1 in the spring. Is it bad to take calc 1 at a CC and calc 2 and 3 at UCSB? thanks.
A statistics major transferring as a junior would generally be expected to have completed much more math than calculus 1 by the time of transfer.
You need to go onto assist because you are sorely lacking in req needed.
