California Colleges/Unis - Finance Major

So, I was at UC Berk for 2 years as a Chem E. major, but I withdrew because I didn't like it, and I didn't know what I wanted to do. I'm currently at a CC, and I've taken a liking to Econ and accounting, but I'm really more interested in Finance than accounting. So, I either go back to Berkeley and try for Haas (but it'd be business admin, not finance), or I transfer somewhere else as a finance major (probably the latter). I'd like to know what Colleges/Unis are high up there for finance majors. So far, I've seen USC and Cal Poly SLO.

Thanks for your time.

PS. Suggestions are welcome. Any questions that would allow you to make better judgements are welcome as well.

Are you from the Bay Area? If so, SJSU also has a good business department that offers a concentration in finance.

[SJSU Catalog](http://info.sjsu.edu/web-dbgen/catalog/departments/BUS-section-5.html)

That said, you’ve named some very good schools for business, and I would take the schools you named over SJSU any day (although for USC, I would only go if I got scholarships that brought the cost down to where it’s comparable to a UC), but if it doesn’t work out, SJSU makes a good backup.
