Should I even consider this? I love the campus and my cousin who lives in vancouver will be attending there this fall (yeah, i'm a bit jealous). Seems like such an amazing school in a great city. The international student rates seem pretty ridiculous though. Is there any way to get around this? My mom is from vancouver, so could I maybe become a citizen? Could I work towards a scholarship?

I'm starting at community college in so cal in less than a week and for now my plan is to work towards a UC transfer for psychology (UCLA or Berkeley ideally). I can get incredible tuition at UCs or CSUs because my dad was military.

So should I stick with my UC plan for my Bachelors? I would really like to go to UBC though.

Down the road could I maybe go to UBC for graduate (phd), medical, or law school? After my bachelors I mean. Or would it still be tough for since I'm american?

Thanks guys
