california state unviersity admission

im a senior now. and i want to go to sjsu or cal state east bay.

my gpa isn't as well as i probably want it to be..but i got a question. i actually got a D+ in my 2nd semester of my human anatomy and physiology class. should i retake the class my senior year for a better grade..or it wouldn't really matter. this is the only D on my high school transcript....and i want to major in business management...should i retake for a better grade or it isn't that big of a deal???

CSU eligibility is figured on a sliding scale: The lower your GPA, the higher your SAT or ACT scores need to be. For SJSU requirements and to figure your eligiblity: SJSU Admission

If your "D" was in an A-G required course, you will need to retake it for a "C" or better. For a list of the A-G required courses: SJSU Admission

For general CSU information for all 23 campuses: The California State University

my D was in an A-G list course but it was my third year of science i already took biology and chemistry and got good grades in it. And csu's require only two years of science. So should i just retake it?

If you have the two years of required science without it, you don't HAVE to take it. (If you have room in your schedule, it would show persistance to retake it.) I would suggest asking SJSU admissions at Virtual Advisor :: Virtual Advisor and see what they say.

thankss for the advice. i think i may decide to take it to replace the D. =)
