I'm currently on Princeton's wait list. Does anyone know, if I call admissions, if they can tell me about any weaknesses in my application?
Thanks!!
best of luck to all you other waitlistees!

i guess you could try. i was going to, but then,

i didn’t want to annoy them with a question that they may not be able to answer, and that may just make me upset if it is something i cant change (course schedule, gpa, sats)

i didnt want to call extra attention to a problem they may have overlooked.

However, i still think its not a bad idea… its a personal choice!

Anecdotally, I’ve heard that sort of phone call is best generated by a GC, not an applicant. A GC will contextualize whatever answer is given. An applicant is more likely to take it personally, and who at admissions wants to get into a p***ing match about that?
