Okaaaay, I hope I got your attention.

Hopefully if you clicked on this thread you go to school somewhere near San Jose, CA. Wellll anywho, I got my school's Model UN approved (not really, but 3 of my friends are on executive ASB, and I have 80 signatures of interested students, when I only need 10, and I plan to attack and speak to random people tomorrow too so I should be good.) I also already talked to a teacher about being moderator, and he agreed. The only reason the Student Life lady said we wouldn't get approved would be if we can't find a moderator.

so ANYWAYS ... Here's my proposal (=

Since our club is going to be BRAND NEW for the '08-'09 school year, I was wondering if we could have friendly interschool debates, just to get more people interested. Also, it would be helpful for us, and your schools too, by mentoring each other.

Me and a friend started JSA Sophomore year (I'm going to be a Senior) and that didn't go too well because 1) We didn't know how to attract people 2) People at our school really are interested in such issues, but interschool activities would REALLLY attract them.

So if you're interested, PM me and we could work out things over the summer and stuff (= Maybe even fundraisers for different social/human rights causes.
