Calling all experienced UPENN-ers

<p>hi everyone,</p>

<p>Hopefully alumni and current students can help me out here. What is a guaranteed way to get into upenn? By that, I mean majors; I heard the nursing program was fairly easy to get into, what else? My stats aren’t great =&lt;/p>

<p>sat=1970
gpa=98 +/-
rank: 6/116</p>

<p>i’m a junior and i’m currently taking some APs; i have a decent list of extra curriculars including music, sports, and science research to name a couple.
Any advice would help and be greatly appreciated; i just want to get into upenn in 07 =)</p>

<p>What is considered good ECs btw? I was in choir ex-co in the past, performed in a musical, am the digital design club's president now, designer for the school mag, I go to a library in a reading program once every week. Not much in the matter of competitions.</p>

<p>And I'm an intnl btw.. Anyone know how much f.aid Penn award to intnls? And how much harder is it to get in when you apply with fa?</p>

<p>Nadash, I hate to dissapoint you but it is insanely hard to get into upenn as an international with financial aid. And they are quite outright with that, they even send you letters about it.</p>

<p>Mexican and canadian admissions are need-blind.</p>

<p>And whether it is harder or not is hard to tell, but most likely yes.</p>

<p>that means mexican and canadian are harder to get in when compared with american studnets because of need blind based financial aid quota is samller for mexican and candian, right?</p>

<p>At least SOMEONE else is pointing this out.</p>

<p>Backdooring CAS/Wharton through the Nursing School is much more obvious than backdooring Wharton through CAS. Penn hates backdoor applicants.</p>
